What I could do for you !

I do python, a lot of python actually, but over the course of 2017 I have really stepped into the technological "realm" of system administrators where I got familiar with virtualization, data storage management, system configuration management, networking concepts, as well as releasing and deploying full-fledged dynamic websites on AWS
So there you go, I may well be hired only as a python/java back-end developer or I could be more than that : someone who delivers value to the team with increased security, unit testing, controlled updates and faster time to market. In other words, my goal is to make everyone else's job easier.

    Helping team with delivery platform migration. From a VM virtuozzo only CD to a hybrid virtuozzo/kubernetes CD model.

    Being an integral part of the

    - Git Checkout phase to Build phase.
    - Build phase to Deploy-to-Test phase.
    - Deploy-to-Test to testing phase.
    - Less active but involved in the "Testing phase to Deploy-to-Production" phase.

    As part of the migration effort and Devops culture principle implementation, other responsibilities include :

    Everyday use of Python unit testing framework (command line unittest) and organizing test code via testcases.
    Using new Jenkins pipeline plugins to define new jobs and new workflows with build manager.

    Leading a europe-wide database development project (JIR cohorte) on patients suffering from rare inflammatory disorders. Tasks and missions consisted of :
    Business analysis : coordination between understanding expectations from the medical profession & implementing those as functionalities with the cooperation of the software development team (agile principles)

    Managing and monitoring of the issue tracking system & ticket resolution in a timely fashion.

    Front end development for 5 new modules/diseases ( ReactJS, Bootstrap & Pyramid web framework)

    Back-end development : specifying new types & data model on an enabled XML database and stored on a RDBMS

    Writing a hand coded ETL program that processes & parses patient data from a foreign health centers (xls and xml files) and converts them into the standardized output for the CHUV database.
